WIMPACT: Women In Medicine – discovering Purpose, Advancement & Courageous Transformation
The WIMPACT: Women In Medicine – Discovering Purpose, Advancement & Courageous Transformation conference is a transformative gathering designed to empower women in healthcare to thrive personally and professionally. This event brings together physicians, healthcare professionals, and thought leaders to address the unique challenges women face in medicine and to cultivate the skills, mindset, and networks needed to lead with purpose and confidence.
Many women in medicine continue to encounter microaggressions, struggle with imposter syndrome, and lack structured mentorship or professional development opportunities. Observations within the workplace and in-depth discussions with seasoned female leaders have revealed consistent barriers—ranging from underrepresentation in leadership roles to the need for more assertive communication strategies and better work-life integration.
