Carolyn Millward, Chartered Accountant; Financial Health Coach
Carolyn Millward is a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of international executive leadership experience in healthcare finance across South Africa, Oman, and the UAE. She has held executive roles as Chief Financial Officer at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in partnership with Mayo Clinic, Executive Director of Finance at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Director of Finance at Healthpoint Hospital, Mubadala Health.
Carolyn’s expertise spans strategic financial leadership, sustainability, and organizational wellbeing. She has overseen multi-billion-dirham healthcare budgets, led cost-optimization initiatives delivering significant savings, and sponsored employee health and wellbeing councils as well as climate-focused sustainability programs.
She is a graduate of the University of South Africa and the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and is board-certified as a Chartered Accountant. Her commitment to lifelong learning includes executive education at institutions such as Wharton, Imperial College Business School, and the Centre for Creative Leadership, as well as certifications in coaching, mindful leadership, and sustainability.
