Activity Description:

This activity follows a standardized multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach to the management of neuro-oncology patients. By bringing together specialists from neurology, oncology, neurosurgery, radiology, and pathology, this activity ensures comprehensive case discussions, evidence-based decision-making, and coordinated patient care. Through collaborative expertise, the tumor board aims to optimize treatment strategies, improve clinical outcomes, and uphold best practices in neuro-oncology management.

Target Audience: 

Neurosurgery, Oncology, Radiation oncology, pathology, Radiology.

Learning Objectives:

• ​​​​​​​Integrate multidisciplinary clinical, radiologic, and pathologic data to develop comprehensive neuro-oncology treatment plans
• Apply current evidence-based guidelines and emerging therapies to patient-specific cases
• Improve interprofessional communication and collaborative decision-making
• Identify appropriate surgical, medical, and radiation oncology strategies for complex neuro-oncology patients
• Recognize opportunities for clinical trial enrollment and personalized treatment approaches
