Activity Description:

This activity tackles the need for multidisciplinary care of these complex patients. This helps bring different specialties together to provide the best possible care for these patients.

Target Audience: 

pulmonary, oncology, radiation oncology, thoracic surgery.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to achieve the below:

  • The objective of the meeting is to discuss challenging thoracic malignancy clinical cases that present to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi for the purpose of either establishing a diagnosis of management plan.
  • This can include but is not limited to surgical, oncological and radiation treatment modalities.
  • The aim of the meeting is to base decisions on current evidence based guidelines where available, and expert opinion
  • when not available.
  • The professional practice gap that has been identified is with regards to performance and patient outcomes. This conference helps address this gap.
