The American Academy of Ophthalmology mission statement recognizes the importance of education of those engaged in eye care as a profession. This activity communicates the need for all practitioners in the field to remain current with the latest evidence-based practices. We seek to help to meet this need for eye care providers practicing in Abu Dhabi

• To diagnose and treat eye disease according to current evidence-based standards.
• To accurately interpret diagnostic imaging in ophthalmology.
• To communicate effectively with patients.
