PET-CT Metabolic Imaging in Tumor Boards – A Primer for Radiologists is a focused, one-day CME-accredited program designed to strengthen the role of radiologists in multidisciplinary cancer care. This course offers a practical introduction to the principles and clinical applications of PET-CT in oncology, with a specific focus on how metabolic imaging informs decision-making within tumor board settings.
Participants will explore key oncologic indications, interpretative challenges, and patterns of disease response and progression through PET-CT. The program emphasizes the value of radiologic input in guiding treatment pathways, staging and restaging, and evaluating therapy response across a range of tumor types.
Combining didactic lectures with real-world case reviews and multidisciplinary discussions, this activity equips radiologists with the foundational knowledge and confidence needed to contribute meaningfully to tumor board deliberations and optimize patient outcomes through advanced metabolic imaging.
