Dr. Muhammad Alkaphoury, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Nuclear Medicine Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Diagnostics Institute. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alkaphoury was a Diagnostic Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Physician at Cleveland Clinic in the US. Dr. Alkaphoury received his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his ACGME accredited Radiology residency at Hamad Medical Corporation, the teaching affiliate of Weill-Cornell Medical College in Doha, Qatar. Following his residency training in Qatar, Dr. Alkaphoury pursued a 4-year subspecialty fellowship position in Radiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, US, and was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Radiology upon graduation. Dr. Alkaphoury was awarded multiple best teacher awards for his participations in resident and fellow teaching activities at Rush University and Cleveland Clinic.
