Dr. Ayman Elsayed currently works as a Consultant Radiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is also a Professor of Radiology at NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde - Queen Elizabeth University Hospitals, Glasgow, UK. He is an academic and clinical supervisor for the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK. He holds an associate professor status at Alexandria University, Egypt. He also holds an adjunct Professor status at the Colleges of Medicine and Health Sciences; Khalifa University and College of Medicine; Gulf Medical University, UAE.

His subspecialist interests are Head & Neck, Neuroradiology and image-guided interventions. He has more than 26 years' experience of working as a consultant in Clinical Radiology with 16 years in the NHS of the UK. He held license to practice in several countries including the UK , Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Saskatchewan (Canada), Queensland (Australia) and Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Beside his clinical commitments, he has a wide experience in research, teaching and academic affairs. He is a peer reviewer of several scientific journals including “Clinical Radiology”, “Egyptian Journal of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine” and “Journal of Radiology Case Reports”. Dr. Elsayed has many publications as well as presentations in several National and International meetings.
